What is an interactive deal room?
An Interactive deal room (iDR) is a digital playbook that influences and guides stakeholders along the buying journey.
This is critical as stakeholders represent our products and solutions when we are not present. But when stakeholders are not adept sellers or buyers, that can lead to stuck and lost opportunities.
iDRs assist the stakeholder and the sales rep by establishing a clear understanding and agreement on how to position and move a deal forward. This helps build and reveal champions.
iDRs act as the mutual meeting space centered around the buyers process, validation and voice that influences better outcomes.
How is an iDR different from a digital sales room?
Most digital sales rooms act as a branded online folder. They assemble sales resources and documents in one place making them convenient to the buyer. It’s a great start but hat they DO NOT DO is prescribe a path forward, supported by client feedback and validation.
iDRs allow the sales rep to select from available sales motions to guide them and their stakeholders along a tailored buying journey. And because it “interactive” both parties can define and validate foundational assumptions, making it easy to establish a compelling argument that can be shared with new participants and decision makers.
